Karbec chooses LaRue

County officials have announced that a manufacturing business is moving to LaRue County.

Karbec, which specializes in automated machinery for manufacturers, will begin operations in early July.

Lead Engineer Troy Fackler said Karbec is a machine integration company that specializes in the automotive industry, railroad industry and several other manufacturing sectors.

Fackler said the company plans on hiring eight or ten employees at their facility by the end of 2015. He said their plans are to employ and expand to 40 employees.
