LaRue County Board of Education heard a proficiency report on Hodgenville Elementary School at their Jan. 20 meeting. The report, presented by HES principal Eric Hughes, detailed their achievement, gap and growth scores for 2014.
The school did see a drop in their scores, though it’s not as bad as it seems, Hughes said. The achievement score, which relates to the reading, math, social studies, science, language mechanics and on-demand writing, fell .6 of a point, from 75.1 in 2013 to 74.5 in 2014.
