    Graduation ceremony will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, May 19. Gates open at 6 p.m., Seniors need to arrive at 6:30 p.m.

    As another school year comes to a close, several LaRue County educators have either retired during the year or have announced their retirement.

    Central Office

    DeeAnne Sanders, federal school nutrition program coordinator, retired April 1 with 31.75 years’ experience.

  • 4-H Talent Show, Fashion Revue

    The 4-H Talent Show and Fashion Revue was held on Friday, April 21.  4-H members were able to showcase their talents in the categories of vocal, instrumental, physical skills and theatrical.  In the Fashion Revue, 4-H Sewing members were judged on their projects as well as their modeling skills.

  • Nationally recognized summer STEM Program coming to Hodgenville

    Camp Invention® Inspires Hands-On Problem Solving and Collaboration

    Camp Invention, a nationally recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment camp program, is coming to the following locations:

    * G.C. Burkhead Elementary School the week of June 12 - June 16, 2017.

    * Abraham Lincoln Elementary School the week of July 10 - July 14, 2017.

    * Meadow View Elementary School the week of June 12 - June 16, 2017.

    The LaRue County School Board meets at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at the LCHS Media Center.

  • Summer camp opportunities

    With the regular school term coming to an end, teachers, staff, and students are gearing up for summer educational programs.

    Quest 17 for exceptional students in kindergarten through fifth grade runs from 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 12-16 at Hodgenville Elementary School.

    Sponsored by the LaRue County Gifted Program, the camp focuses on students extending their knowledge through fun activities.

    Christina Boone, instructional supervisor, and gifted/talented coordinator Karyn Brey are in charge of the program that includes subjects:
