 Civil suit dismissed

The civil suit John Revels vs. William Bewley was dismissed Nov. 16 in LaRue Circuit Court.

Charge dismissed

A charge of custodial interference against Michael R. Freman (1952) was dismissed with prejudice Dec. 3 in LaRue Circuit Court. The charge may not be re-filed. The parties agreed upon a stipulation of probable cause.

 William and Sandra Coy were banned from living in LaRue County for two years as part of the settlement of a 2007 case involving their treatment of animals. The couple again is facing similar charges in Franklin County.

 A Nelson County grand jury indicted a New Haven man last week on several counts.

Jesse Layne French, 24, is accused in three separate indictments involving first-degree trafficking in controlled substances. French is accused of selling heroin in an amount equal to or less than two grams to a confidential informant in March. He either acted alone or in concert with David Lucas, according to the court documents.
