  • Cocaine found in man cave

    LaRue County Sheriff’s Deputies found cocaine while investigating a domestic dispute at a Hodgenville residence on June 8.

  • Man arrested on marijuana trafficking

    A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Hodgenville man, by LaRue County Sheriff’s Office, for trafficking in Marijuana.

    LaRue County Deputy Sheriff Nick Pruitt initially pulled over Hunter James Smith, 20, of Hodgenville, for a burned out tail light. While talking to Smith, Pruitt stated he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Pruitt asked Smith if he “had anything illegal in the vehicle,” Smith allegedly stated he didn’t. When Pruitt questioned further, Smith reportedly admitted that he had a marijuana pipe in the console.

    A New Haven man was arrested on multiple charges after the LaRue County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of reckless driving on Saturday morning, June 10.

    Chadren Wayne Frisby, 38, of Hodgenville was charged with disregarding stop sign, no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure to register motor vehicle, operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released from LCDC.

    Annabelle R. Carlen had her charges dismissed with prejudice. She was charged with complicity of a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, complicity of first degree possession of a controlled substance, complicity of cultivation of marijuana five plants or more, complicity of drug paraphernalia, complicity of possession of marijuana and first degree persistent felony offender.

    Steven T. Edlin, 43, of Raywick, arrested on a warrant.
