Willis A. Richardson, 39, was charged Aug. 11 after officers found marijuana and methamphetamine labs in his home.
Social services had requested police assistance on a welfare check on children at a residence on Cruse Road, according to Kentucky State Trooper Ryan Johnson. Upon arrival, Johnson obtained permission to search the residence and found a marijuana plant and evidence of several meth labs.
A 12-year-old was removed from the home and placed with family members. A pregnant woman residing at the residence was not charged.
