A Hodgenville man was charged Aug. 26 with trafficking in cocaine and driving while under the influence.
Jamarquis VanDarren Handley, 28, allegedly had 8 grams of cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop, according to Constable Tim Ford.
Ford said he had noticed Handley driving side-to-side and pulled him over on Fairview Drive.
Handley was charged also with careless driving and possession of controlled substance.
Handley was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center and will be arraigned in LaRue District Court.
