    Jessie P Davis, 31, of Munfordville was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains lodged in LCDC.

    Christy M. Harper, 36, of Cave City was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains lodged in LCDC.

  • Simon Ford pleads guilty to sexual misconduct

    The former head coach of the LaRue County High School and Middle School girls’ basketball teams has pled guilty to sexual misconduct.

  • Hodgenville man indicted for rape

    The LaRue County Grand Jury returned 23 indictments on Monday, June 19 including one indictment for rape.

    William Patrick Williamson, 42, of Hodgenville was indicted on one count of first degree rape of a victim under 12-years-old. According to the indictment, the allegation happened sometime between December 1, 1997 and December 1, 1998 in LaRue County when Williamson committed the offense of first degree rape by engaging in forcible sexual intercourse with the victim who was under 12.

    Bookings at the LaRue County Detention Center from Friday, June 16 to Friday, June 23

    Andy Hall, 21, of Sonora was charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500. He remains lodged in LCDC.

    David Strausser, 50, of Hodgenville was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first degree wanton endangerment, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains lodged in LCDC.

  • Vehicle accident leads to chase

    A vehicle accident ended in an arrest on Saturday, June 24 after a Hart County man led police on a short chase that ended in Hodgenville.

    According to the arrest citation, the incident started when LaRue County Dispatch received a call from someone on Red Bud Drive in Hodgenville saying that a vehicle was stuck in the ditch and trying to get out of it. Moments later, the caller told the dispatcher that the driver got the vehicle out of the ditch and had turned on Hwy 210 toward Hodgenville. The driver was later identified as Dustin Hawk Wheat, 23, of Munfordville.

    Jason England, 34, of Hodgenville was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was later released from LCDC.

    Lennie Clifton Vincent, 37, of Hodgenville was charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia and first degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He remains lodged in LCDC.

  • Criminal abuse case moves on to grand jury

    Two people who were charged with first degree criminal abuse had their case passed on to the LaRue County Grand Jury last week.

    Loyd W. Sadler, 58 and Lora L. Sadler, 54 were both charged with first degree criminal abuse after the death investigation of Mary Jane King, 68, of Upton.

  • Case against former deputy jailer passed to grand jury

    A former LaRue County Deputy Jailer had her case passed on to the LaRue County Grand Jury last week.

    Kathleen Frye, 42, of New Haven appeared in LaRue County District Court on Wednesday, June 14. She is charged with second degree official misconduct and tampering with public records.

    The charges against Frye stemmed from an incident on April 2, 2017 when Frye transported 27-year-old Brittany Zabala to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment. At the time, Zabala was 15 weeks pregnant.

    Jordan L. Canter failed to appear and had a bench warrant issued for his arrest.

    Jacobi Caven appeared for a parole violation and he agreed to complete in-patient treatment. His case was continued to June 19 at 9 a.m. in LaRue County Circuit Court.

    Danielle L. Estepp failed to appear and had a bench warrant issued for her arrest.

    Kelton Simon Ford had his case continued to June 19 at 9 a.m. in LaRue County Circuit Court. He is charged with first degree sexual abuse.
