A Sonora man was charged Aug. 1 with cultivation of marijuana, five or more plants; drug paraphernalia, buy or possession; possession of marijuana; and trafficking in marijuana, 8 ounces to 5 pounds.
Lenin Wieman Jr., 50, of Murrieltown Road, was allegedly growing 10 marijuana plants beside a cornfield, according to an arrest report by the LaRue County Sheriff’s office.
He was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center.
His bond was set at $25,000 cash. He will be arraigned Aug. 7 in LaRue District Court.
