Several people were indicted Feb. 20 by a LaRue County grand jury for offenses ranging from rape to welfare fraud.
They include:
Ethan Robert Ferguson (1973) of Henderson, was indicted on one count of flagrant non-support and first-degree persistent felony offender.
He is charged with failing to provide support that resulted in an arrearage of $11,828.80 between December 2010 and February 2012. He is accused also of having been previously convicted of complicity to theft by unlawful taking and flagrant non-support in Hardin County.

A Hodgenville couple was indicted Feb. 20 by a LaRue County grand jury on drug trafficking charges.
Tiffany Underwood and James Alex Clifford, both 23, are each charged with first-degree trafficking in controlled substance and complicity; first-degree possession of controlled substance (heroin) and complicity; first-degree possession of controlled substance, drug unspecified, and complicity; possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity; and possession of marijuana and complicity.
Trafficking is a Class C felony.

 The LaRue County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a recent theft in Mount Sherman that occurred the night of Feb. 13 or 14. 

According to Deputy Russell McCoy, someone came onto the property of Floyd Evans and removed a large toolbox from his truck. The box contained Craftsman’s tools valued at $1,200. Other items were also taken bringing the totaled valued items to $1,500.

Abdullah Rahman White was indicted Monday by a LaRue County grand jury for the murder of 28-year-old Kristie Lynne Allen.
Allen was found dead Dec. 30 inside a home in Buffalo where she had been house-sitting for friends.
White, 35, of Radcliff, was seen fleeing the house in Allen's car, according to Kentucky State Police.
