A former LaRue County deputy jailer is facing charges of promoting contraband at the jail.
Ramona Young, 33, of Hodgenville has been charged with first-degree official misconduct and second-degree promoting contraband after allegedly providing tobacco products to an inmate, according to Hodgenville City Police Chief Steve Johnson.
Two inmates, Charles Corcoran, 26, of Virginia, and Jeffrey Purdam, 34, of Magnolia, are facing related charges, Johnson said.
