    A local woman was indicted for manslaughter and criminal abuse after the death of her mother who was in her care.

    Lovie P. Skaggs, 59, of Hodgenville was indicted by the LaRue County Grand Jury on Monday, July 18 for second degree manslaughter and first degree criminal abuse.

  • Four indicted for Meth

    Seventeen people were recently indicted by the LaRue County Grand Jury, including four people who were indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine.

    According to the indictments, the manufacturing meth incident occurred on Wednesday, March 9 as the four people were responsible for knowingly and unlawfully possessing two or more items of equipment or two or more chemicals for the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
