  • Twenty people indicted

    The LaRue County Grand Jury handed down a laundry list of indictments on Monday, August 21 and most of them were for drug charges.

    Shannon D. Ward, 42, of Glasgow was indicted for complicity to receiving stolen property, complicity to first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and complicity to possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $5,000 cash.

    Anthony P. Schynder Jr., 23, of Hodgenville was indicted on one count of second degree assault. His bail was set at $9,500 cash.

  • Court Briefs - August 23, 2017

    Crystal J. Bennett was arraigned for first degree possession of a controlled substance, first degree possession of an opiate, operating on a suspended or revoked operators license and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Terry Bowen was arraigned for complicity to second degree assault.

    Phillip B. Bradshaw was arraigned on two counts of knowingly exploiting an adult by person over $300, knowingly abuse/neglect of an adult by person and second degree cruelty to animals.

    Michael Snyder, 20, of Rineyville was lodged for theft by failing to make required disposition of property. He was later released from LCDC.

    Blake Purvis, 19, was lodged for failure to appear. He was later released from LCDC.

    Mararito M. Nieto, 40, of Louisville was lodged for reckless driving, disregarding a traffic light, no operators license and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was later released from LCDC.

    Dustin Hawk Wheat, 24, of Elizabethtown was lodged for warrants on first degree fleeing or evading police, second degree terroristic threatening, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the required insurance, failure to produce an insurance card, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and reckless driving. He was later released from LCDC.

     Abigail Brooke Warren, 21, of Hodgenville, probation violation, she was released from LCDC.

    Alena Thurman, 38, of Jamestown, careless driving, failure to or improper signal, no registration plates, driving on a dui suspended license, drug paraphernalia, she was released from LCDC.

    James Belt, 46, of Hodgenville was lodged for public intoxication of a controlled substance and second degree disorderly conduct. He was later released from LCDC.

    Brianna R. Abney entered a guilty plea to second degree possession of a controlled substance. Commonwealth recommended 12 months probation.

    Brittany Ball bond was modified to $5,000 10%. She is charged with complicity to first degree possession of a controlled substance, complicity to possession of drug paraphernalia, complicity to third degree possession of a controlled substance and complicity to marijuana.

    Bobby W. Fisher entered a guilty plea to first degree fleeing or evading police. Commonwealth recommended three years probation.

  • Bradshaw indicted

    Indictments were handed down by the LaRue County Grand Jury on Monday, July 17 in two high profile cases.

    Phillip Bradshaw 54, of Hodgenville was indicted on two counts of exploiting an adult over $300, two counts of knowingly abuse/neglect by person and second degree cruelty to animals.

    Unique Allen Moore was arraigned on theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000, fraudulent use of a credit card under $500, theft of a receipt of stolen credit/debit card, receiving stolen property under $500 and third degree criminal trespassing.

    John H. Aubrey case was continued to July 17 in LaRue County Circuit Court at 10 a.m. He is charged with third degree burglary, tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property under $10,000, second degree criminal mischief and persistent felony offender.
