  • Man found asleep at gas pump, arrested in Buffalo

    LaRue County Sheriff’s office was called to a gas station in Buffalo with a report of a man who was asleep at the gas pumps around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 9.

    LaRue County Deputy Sheriff Kevin Bennett responded to a call of a man asleep in a vehicle at the Y Not Stop in Buffalo. When Bennett arrived he reportedly knocked on the window of the vehicle and found Michael E. Downs, 37, of Hodgenville. Downs allegedly told Bennett he works all the time and just fell asleep.

  • Man arrested for hit and run

    A LaRue County man was arrested on Friday, March 31 for leaving the scene of an accident near the intersection of South Greensburg Street and East High Street in Hodgenville.
