Adam Sandidge, LaRue County’s only competitor, won the 1,600 at Friday’s Central Hardin Invitational. He set a school record with a time of 4:26.81.
Sandidge took second in the 800, after setting the school record in the event Wednesday in the LaRue County All-Comers meet. He broke the record Friday with a time of 2:00.57.
Sandidge had taken the lead with about 200 meters to go from Central’s Christian Wright.
Wright regained the lead as he and Sandidge entered the final 100 meters.
