Citizens First Bank was the winning bidder for four Horse Cave Theatre buildings that once served as business offices, the scene shop, the education facility and the theatre itself at a recent Master Commissioner’s sale, according to the News-Herald. Twenty people attended the sale.
The bank paid $197,000. The property was appraised at $295,000.
Horse Cave Theatre was unable to make payments on a note to Citizens First and was forced to shut its doors last February, leaving a debt of $366,621.
