The LaRue County Cattlemen’s Association hosted Kentucky’s 19th House District Representative Michael Lee Meredith Oct. 11. Meredith’s district comprises Edmonson, Hart and LaRue Counties.  
Meredith updated the Association on recent activities in Frankfort.  Various issues that were discussed were the fuel conversion experiments, animal and disease traceability, tobacco moisture density issues and state budget issues.  

Kentucky AgrAbility helps farmers with disabilities find ways to continue farming by providing education and assistance so they can cope with or accommodate a disability.
The program provides technical assistance through direct help to agricultural families with assistive technology, worksite modification and independent living modifications.
AgrAbility is also the major information resource for farming with a disability and reaches out through direct personal contact; mail and Internet delivery; and public education and outreach.
