  • Free Soil Testing Can Help Determine Pasture Fertilization Needs

Farmers need to allocate their resources wisely. Whether or not to fertilize pasture and/or hay fields is one such decision.

The answer depends on a grower’s specific situation. When considering the answer, the first thing to do is examine field soil test levels. If soil samples have not been taken within the past three years, it would be wise to collect new ones before making a decision. That alone, can save considerable money.
