  • Early warm weather not welcomed by many farmers

I have really enjoyed this early onset spring that we’ve had for the last few weeks. I have gotten a three week head start on many of my outside chores that need to be done. What’s been convenient for me and many others out there, has not been so pleasant for our area farmers. In fact it’s been quite stressful. It’s tough when things that happen that are beyond your control, and several crops of local importance will pay dearly for this span of abnormally warm temperatures.
