  • Fall Garden Cleanup

Practicing good sanitation measures in the garden is important throughout the year. This is especially important for gardens that are only being partially used or not used at all during the cool fall and winter season.

We’ve had several reports of 250 plus bushel corn, and 80+ bushel soybeans early in the harvest season,” said Daniel Carpenter, LaRue County Extension Agent for Ag and Natural Resources. “But as we’ve started harvesting more of the later planted crops, the yields have been dropping drastically, especially in corn.”
