Johnson not guilty

Former Hodgenville Police Chief Steve Johnson was found not guilty of official misconduct during his jury trial July 27 in LaRue County District Court.

The charge was related to an incident involving a police cruiser “dash-cam” video of the March 29, 2014, arrest of LaRue County Schools Superintendent Sam Sanders, who was charged that night with driving while intoxicated. The video had been released by Johnson the next day, March 30.
