Chief's trial date set for July

A trial date has been set in the case of suspended Hodgenville Police Chief Steve Johnson.

Johnson was charged last year with official misconduct by Kentucky State Police after he allegedly permitted TV news crews to watch and record dash-cam footage of a traffic stop on March 29, 2014. The video, which showed Superintendent Sam Sanders taking a field sobriety test and the arrival of his wife at the scene, was broadcast on several stations.
