  • If you ask a child, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”, their answer could change a number of times a day. How would you answer the question, “What are you to become?” Let’s think of how a believer in Jesus would or should answer.

A believer in Jesus Christ should be a transmitter of grace. Ephesians 4:7 says, “each of us was given grace.”  This is huge.  To receive God’s grace is the greatest thing that can happen to us.  God gives us an ample supply and His grace never runs out.

  • God through Moses set before the children of Israel the choice of a blessing or a curse (Deuteronomy 11:26-28). If they were to be blessed by God, they are told to listen to and follow the commandments of the Lord. The curse would come if they did not listen to and obey God.

The Book of Deuteronomy is Moses’ last plea to a stubborn people. God is giving them a choice between a blessing or a curse. For us today this seems like a no-brainer.
