  • Friends of NRA seeks donations

    Elizabethtown Friends of the NRA are seeking donations and sponsors for door prizes for its annual banquet. Proceeds will be used to support youth and shooting-related sports.     Citizens Union Bank will have an Easter basket silent auction for Relay for Life.   • A Green County man died March 15 after a farming accident north of Summersville.

    Green County Coroner Eudell Stilts said Kenneth Hodges, 69, 7530 Hodgenville Road, was spreading fertilizer at approximately 10:45 a.m. when his clothing became caught in the tractor’s auxiliary power unit, according to the Greensburg Record-Herald.
