    Registration

    Registration for all LCHS students is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. July 22 at the LCHS media center. Be prepared to pay textbook fees of $60 and laptop fees of $20. Laptop fees may be paid up through fall break.

    LCHS SBDM Meeting

    LCHS will have a special called SBDM meeting 4:30 p.m. July 28 in the conference room. Meeting dates for the remainder of the year will be set.

    LaRue County Parks and Recreation Board will meet 7 p.m. July 29 in the Community Center.

  • Pork Producers to meet

    The LaRue County Pork Association will meet 7 p.m. July 19 at the LaRue County Extension Service office. A meal will be served. All interested individuals are invited to attend.

     

    Goat and Sheep Producers to meet

    LaRue County Goat and Sheep Producers will meet 7:30 p.m. July 20 at the LaRue County Extension Service office. This year’s LaRue County Fair Goat and Sheep Shows will be discussed. All interested individuals are invited.

    State Fair entry deadlines

  • Ninety-three campers and 14 teen and adult leaders spent four days at Lake Cumberland enjoying swimming, boating, fishing, archery, riflery, arts and crafts, recreation, high ropes, low ropes and outdoor cooking. 

  • The 2010 LaRue County Fair will be July 22-31 and LaRue County residents are encouraged to enter crop and livestock exhibits. Agriculture remains a strong part of the 103rd LaRue County Fair.

    Let’s look this week at crop exhibits. Specific details for all the exhibits and events can be reviewed in the 2010 LaRue County Community Fair supplement in The LaRue County Herald News. The catalog should be consulted to help you meet the rules and regulations, as well as for other County Fair events.
