  • Have you ever heard someone say: “That is the first mistake I’ve ever made.” They had to be kidding because we all make mistakes.  I’ve made so many that I would be considered an expert.

We may be a little surprised to find people in the Bible making mistakes, but they were human.  Consider some of the mistakes mentioned in the Bible.

  • In John 21:15, John pens these words of Jesus, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” This piercing and intriguing question causes reflection, introspection, and concern. It is ambiguous, yet pointed. It is subtle, yet obvious. “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”

  • Thought for the week:  You have permission to rest. You are not responsible for fixing everything that is broken. You do not have to try and make everyone happy. For now, take time for you. It’s time to replenish.

I will be so glad when weather turns warmer, the sunshine is out more and there are no more chilly winds. I am ready to start working on the flowerbeds.
