 Several weeks ago, a friend and I were talking about ghosts in closets — things that people say they’ve forgiven and forgotten, but they really haven’t.

We talked about how difficult it is for people to forgive, and wondered aloud if it’s even possible. Or, if it is possible — and it must be since God tells us to forgive others “just as in Christ God has forgiven (us)” and if he tells us to do something, he always makes a way to do it — is it possible to forget?

Program will benefit Hubbard Cemetery

Dr. Kevin Cosby and choir from St. Stephens Baptist Church, Louisville, will host a program for the Hubbard Cemetery at noon Nov. 3 at First Baptist Hodgenville, Tonieville Road. Donations will be accepted for upkeep of the cemetery. A meal will be served. Brothers-in-Christ from Hardin County will perform. Super Youth to meet at Locust Grove

 Life is tough.

It seems to hit you all at one time. Someone said, “It is like getting the hope kicked out of you.” 

But the Christian has a reason for hope for we are “in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:12-13) and we always have hope because of what God has promised us (Romans 8).
