  • Your destiny is ruling with Christ

Revelation 5:1-10 “And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”

  • Live by the spirit's power

Advice is given by the Apostle Paul to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.

  • 'Know the real joy of good living'

“Know the real joy of good living.”

A beer commercial stated that the way to discover real living was to drink their brand. There are many others who would disagree and say the way to real living is service to others. Jesus would agree with the last statement. He said while on earth, “In as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these, you have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:45). One of our hymns caught the meaning of this verse. It is titled simply, “Others.”

  • God cannot be limited by man

The man who limits God simply does not know God. Do you think anything is too hard for God? If your answer is yes, you need to revise your thinking. The Bible says “with God all things are possible.”

Sennacherib and his mighty army came against Hezekiah, the King of Judah. He wrote an insulting letter to Hezekiah. Hezekiah went to God’s house and spread the letter out before God and asked God to save Judah.

  • 'Therefore comfort one another'

Therefore comfort one another with these words. (I Thessalonians 4:15-18)

This is one of the best-known passages about the Lord’s second coming, and it is also one of the most detailed. We are told that there will be a threefold announcement of his coming: a shout, the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God, verse 16. In addition there is a three-fold promise to believers: the dead in Christ shall rise; we who are alive will be caught away with them; and we shall always be with the Lord v.16-17.

  • The empty tomb holds a great message

The world has seen some dark days, but the darkest was the day Jesus Christ was crucified. His body was removed from the cross by two friends and placed in Joseph’s tomb. Early in the morning, some of his followers went to the tomb to complete the earlier preparing of His body for burial. To their amazement they found the stone rolled away and were told by an angel that Jesus was alive.
