  • Trust the Lord

Have you ever faced a moment in life that left you pondering the future? A time when you were confused about what lied ahead or what obstacles might be awaiting your journey? Have you ever met the moment when the feeling of overwhelmed dominated your life? I am sure that these questions probably sparked a moment or two in your life. How did you face those times?

  • Facing Whatever

Recently the devotion said that trouble will come.  I’m thankful for the positive response by some readers and want to add some additional thoughts on the subject for handling trouble.  How we respond to things that come into our lives is very important. Our response will reveal our character.  We can be all smiles in the sunshine, but the dark days and times of trouble reveals our true inner self. Will we weather the storms because we have done a good job in building on the proper foundation and used good material in construction?

  • Hell-Heaven

Hell. Do you avoid thinking or talking about Hell? Why? Is it simply too unpleasant and distasteful? Or is it out of a hidden or repressed fear? Should we think and talk about Hell?

Does Hell really exist? Some believe Hell does not exist and question how a loving God could send someone there. Others assert that Hell is simply life here on earth. Some use the word “Hell” casually and flippantly, showing they don’t even understand what it really is.
