  • Being under the Blood

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). Without blood there cannot be life in the physical body. This is also true in the Bible. Blood flows through the Bible just as it does through the veins of our body. The late W. A. Criswell authored many books, one of which was titled, The Scarlet Thread. He shows how the thread that ran from Genesis to Revelation was the blood of Jesus.

  • A Threat to Our Nation

Our nation seems to be falling apart.  At least, that is one man’s opinion.  And our greatest threat is not from beyond our borders, but within our own land.  Someone wrote an article entitled, “Without A  Shot”, showing how other great nations of the past have fallen from within.  We are imploding.

America was once feared and respected in the world.  What has happened?  How are we viewed today?

  • Live Today

The Psalmist said, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). This is a prescription for the soul that can give zest, sparkle and determination to your life.

We promise ourselves tomorrow projecting our joys, opportunities, and even our living into the future. Others endure the present waiting for a better time tomorrow, but dreams of tomorrow should not rob us of today.
