Each year at this time, The LaRue County Herald News runs a wrap of the top stories of the previous 12 months.
A quick glance at headlines shows that much of the coverage involved alleged wrong-doing of several county and city officials. Unfortunately, most of it will continue into 2015.
With that sobering thought in mind, we have decided, rather than rehashing topics that are so painful to many, to spotlight four LaRue Countians we believe have contributed to our county’s success in 2014.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday. Many traveled from afar to visit and bring gifts to their loved ones. There were many dinners, and other events that made this holiday an enjoyable happy season.
Arneva Smith and Dolivinia Watson were admitted to Hardin Memorial Hospital last week and released. Arneva was admitted Sunday afternoon. She’s in room 220.
Sunday morning was youth day at Lane Lincoln.
