Kentucky’s 2013 legislative session included memorial designations of several state roads. A section of KY 86 west of Cecilia in Hardin County is being named “Fire Chief Louis Crosier Highway.”
It was cold and windy, but this year’s golf scramble was a huge success. I am thankful for the many volunteers and businesses that made our annual fundraiser such a success. Thank you to the golfers who made it such a fun and exciting time.
We had 15 teams this year, with two of our teams tying for first and squaring off for a final tee off to win the first place cash prize.
Patrick Butterworth, the 8-year-old son of Jenee Burd and Aaron Butterworth of Buffalo, visited with University of Kentucky basketball players Nerlens Noel and Julius Mays at Towne Mall in Elizabethtown. They signed a Kentucky basketball and photos of each player. Patrick named his puppy “Nerlens” in honor of his favorite Wildcat.

Maegan Annette Pearman and Anthony Ryan Hellmueller exchanged marriage vows in an intimate ceremony April 6, 2013, at Gatlinburg’s Little Log Wedding Chapel in front of family and close friends.
The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Cynthia Morgan of Hodgenville; and the granddaughter of the late Tom and Bettye White and the late Tommy and Clearcie Pearman. She is an assistant vice president at Magnolia Bank.
