The Hardin & LaRue Diabetes Coalition will meet 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at the LaRue County Extension Office, Old E’town Road, Hodgenville. It is open to anyone with interest in early diagnosis, reduction of complications, prevention and elimination of diabetes. The Sunrise Manor and Friends art exhibit at the Lincoln Museum Community Room showcases local talent. This display shows items exhibited by W.D. Burden, Emogene Gardner, Nancy Sprowles, K. Brey, Silver Angels Day Care, Dolly Marcum, Mary Lou Owen and Evelyn Gibbons. There will be a reception 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. The public is invited.
