Five chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at Bardstown on November 5, 2016.
The chapters that met were Cox’s Station (Cox’s Creek), Captain Jacob Van Meter (Elizabethtown), Grayson Springs (Leitchfield), John Fitch (Bardstown) and Salt River (Shepherdsville) Chapters. The event was hosted by Cox’s Station Chapter. Rose Cooper, Joyce Miller, Dolly Marcum, Linda King and Beverly Heath represented Captain Jacob Van Meter Chapter.
Carlos Cox has returned from Hardin Memorial Hospital. Rosleen Price has returned home from Sunrise Manor. Dorothy Embree Barnes will be having surgery this Wednesday morning at Hardin Memorial Hospital. Randy Sloan is a resident at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
Mike Mountain passed away Monday, November 14 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was the husband to Patricia “Trish” Thurman Mountain of Hodgenville.

Brittney is the granddaughter of Dennis and Charlotte Isbell of Magnolia, and Carroll and Joan Corbin of New Haven.
Hayes is the grandson of Lula Thomas and the late Randall Thomas of Elizabethtown, Bill and Monique Baker of Hendersonville, TN., and Peggy Dickson and Harold Johnson of Nashville, TN.
