Sunrise Manor Nursing Home residents moved to the new facility Sept. 28.
Wednesday, they celebrated their first major holiday since the move with a Thanksgiving parade.
In Sunrise tradition, residents, adult daycare clients, staff, volunteers and family members joined in the fun with small floats, costumes and seasonal decorations. The parade’s grand marshal Claudine McCugh smiled and waved at other residents as the procession made its way around the first floor. The group took the festivities to the second floor by elevator.
