The Lincoln Museum was recognized as one of the top sites in Kentucky by a new website, Explore Kentucky.
The museum, located on Lincoln Square in Hodgenville, ranked second in a list “What to do” in Kentucky. Kentucky State Parks were top-ranked as one of the places to travel in 2015 at louisville.com.
The sites were rated by Gerry Seavo James.
Anita Musgrove, a writer from Brandon, Mississippi, has released her second cookbook — Kentucky Back Road Restaurant Recipes.
The cookbook and restaurant guide features everything from restaurant signature recipes to those family favorite recipes the owners and chefs cook at home.

For those looking to keep their New Year’s resolution to lose a little weight, the LaRue County adult education office is offering classes in Zumba and yoga.
Adult education director Connie Goff is heading up the initiative. She said it’s important to offer classes that the community wants since it’s their tax money that’s paying for the facilities.
The Kelly Dean Sanders Memorial Luncheon will again be paired with the LaRue County Drama Program’s community production. Katy Cecil, head of the program, said they will be performing Neil Simon’s Rumors for the audience and dinner-goers.
