Dr. Joshua Ryan Johnson of Lexington, completed his medical training in the sports medicine field at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Johnson graduated from LaRue County High School in May 2000 and earned his bachelor of science degree in agricultural biotechnology from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2008. He then served a four-year residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Louisville. He has now completed a one-year sports medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
Kayla Shae Roten of Magnolia, and James Dean “J.D.” Pullin Jr. of Hodgenville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride to be is the daughter of Traci Denham of Magnolia and Marty Roten of Louisville. She earned an associate in arts and applied science degree from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and is pursing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education at Western Kentucky University. She is employed at Dow Corning.

Grief Support Group
The Grief Support Group will be offered 3-4:30 p.m. July 18 at Hospice of Nelson County office, 202 W. Stephen Foster, Bardstown. The free group is led by a Hospice social worker. For information, call 502-350-5570.
The Legal Aid Society, 416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, will hold free legal clinics in July, August and September. Each session will be held at that location unless otherwise stated.
