Bobby and Judy Warren of Louisville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 28.
They were married in Green County by Rev. Cosby Dobson on April 28, 1962.
They have two children, Robbie and B.J. Warren, and four grandchildren.
Friends and family shared in a celebration in their honor at Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church on March 18.
LaRue County Diabetes Support Group
The LaRue County Diabetes Support Group will meet 6:30-7:30 p.m. April 19 in the rear meeting room of the LaRue County Extension Office. The topic is “Get Moving for Spring.”

Workers were busy building on a new addition to the Summersville Fire Department Saturday. Men from the local Mennonite church, firefighters and other community residents were hard at work constructing the new 36 ft. x 50 ft. addition. About 20 individuals were working on the project.
The added community center will be used for activities such as showers, children’s events and birthday parties among other things.
Plans are to have the community center completed within a short time.
Navy and Marine Corps shipmates who served on the USS Columbus CA-74/CG-12 from 1944 to 1976 and the USS Columbus SSN-762, past and present, are invited to share memories and camaraderie.

A concert to benefit abused and neglected children in Kentucky will be held 7:30 p.m. May 12.
Rick Price, Australian singer and songwriter, will perform at Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center, 384 W.A. Jenkins Road, Elizabethtown. Price’s album, “Heaven Knows” produced several top-40 hits including “Not a Day Goes By” and the title track.
Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) of the Heartland is sponsoring the event.
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Fine Arts Committee will present the spring concert of the ECTC Concert Band and the ECTC Choristers 7 p.m. April 24 in the Morrison Gallery in the Owen (Administration) Building of the college. The concert is free and the public is invited.
