Nolin RECC has awarded in scholarship funds to LaRue County High School students.
Scholarship awards include a $5,000 Bob Wade Sr. Memorial Scholarship to LCHS student Sara Gray and one $1,500 scholarship to LCHS student Chase Watson. Recipients may use the funds at any college or vocational school of their choice.
Sara Gray is the recipient of Nolin’s $5,000 Bob Wade Sr. Memorial Scholarship. Her parents are Gilbert and Jessica Gray. Sara is attending Elizabethtown Community and Technical College to begin her studies in dental hygiene.

Hodgenville American Legion Post #87 will be hosting an appreciation dinner for local law enforcement, civil servants and other emergency responders on Saturday, August 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. The meal is free for all LaRue County law enforcement, civil servants and other emergency responders that are in uniform. The cost of the meal for everyone else is $10 each.
Deanna Powell has been selected as the July Employee of the Month for Nationwide Uniform. We are proud to say Deanna has been employed with Nationwide since March of 1996 and is currently under the supervision of Nellie Gaskin in the trouser department. Deanna will receive a special award for her dedication and service.
