    Early deadline, not much news. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We attended the West Thanksgiving held at the Senior Citizens Center in Hodgenville.

    Congratulations to Ben Edwards on being chosen October employee of the Month for Nationwide Uniform. Congratulations to Henry and Linda Mills on their 50th wedding anniversary on November 25.

  • KyKnitWits meet in Hodgenville

    The KYknitwits met for their fourth mini get-together on November 18 at Paula’s Hot Biscuit in Hodgenville.

    “Thanks to Paula for letting us meet there. We also recruited Paula as a member to the group. We had lots of fun, talking, exchanging gifts and enjoyed the great food,” Vincent said. “Great big shout out to honorary members Arnold Fulmer and Ned Hoaker for being patient while the ladies hung out together.”

    Sunrise Manor Christmas Bazaar

    A Christmas Bazaar to benefit the Sunrise Manor Elder Vacation will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday December 3 at Arrowhead Archery and Barbeque in Hodgenville. Vendors are welcome to set up. Cost is $25 per booth and vendor registration begins at 8:30 a.m. For more information contact Sonya Turner or Tassie Cooper at 270-358-3103.

    Let’s continue in prayer for the families that have lost loved ones due to various acts of violence, injuries, or sickness.

    Let’s also remember to pray for all the sick and shut-ins, hospitals, nursing homes, institutions, jailhouses, prisons, rehabs, the homeless, families who have lost loved ones, men and women fighting for our country, our law enforcement officers, our country, the violence throughout the country, our president and most of all, pray for one another.

    Saturday, December 3 at noon will be the missionary meeting at First Baptist.
