Army Reserve Pvt. Ethan E. Napier has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony.
Napier is the son of James and Virginia Napier of Hodgenville and a 2012 graduate of LaRue County High School.
Lincoln Trail District Health Department and Region V Healthcare Partners will host an exercise May 15 to test natural disaster response and coordination. Participating will be LaRue County Health Center, Sunrise Manor and LaRue County EMS.
