Mark and Melissa Blair of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kaitlin Blair, to Anthony Huff, son of Boone and the late Lisa Graham of Buffalo and Tony Huff of Elizabethtown.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Central Hardin High School and a 2012 graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is employed by LaRue County Schools as a substitute teacher.
Ruby and Clifford Perkins of Hodgenville will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2013.
They were married on July 24, 1943.
They have nine children, Wanda Baumgarder, Mary Lois Wade, David Perkins, Connie Hunt, Elaine Perkins, Angela Voris, Marty Perkins, Daniel Perkins and Robert Perkins, who died after one day of life; and more than 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Aidan Tyler was born on April 3, 2013, at University Hospital in Louisville. He weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

Travis and Becky Beard of Elizabethtown announce the birth of a son, Chad Wayne Ray Beard, on Dec. 6, 2012, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He weighed 4 pounds, 9 ounces and was 17 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Donnie and Elaine Nunn of Hodgenville. Paternal grandparents are Ray and Connie Beard of Elizabethtown.
Maternal great-grandparents are Donald and Leona Morgan of Elizabethtown and Kenneth and Helen Nunn of Hodgenville. Paternal great-grandparents are Nettie Langley of Elizabethtown and the late Ben Langley and Fletcher and Helen Beard.
Daniel Enlow of Glendale was awarded a 4.0 Medallion from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College for achieving a perfect grade point average. He was one of only four graduating students to receive the award.
Kayla Michelle Skaggs, a 2013 graduate of LaRue County High School, is the recipient of the $300 Leadership LaRue County Scholarship given annually by the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce.
Kayla, the daughter of Steve and Sandy Skaggs of Magnolia, plans to attend the University of Kentucky in the fall and pursue a career in business marketing education. This college track includes a four-year major in business marketing and pursing a master’s in education to be eligible to teach at a secondary school.
