The LaRue County Public Library has a Guys’ Read Book club that meets twice a month. The goal of the club is to make reading for boys, ages 9-12, more of a joy than a chore. By having men in the community be mentors for the boys, it is intended to allow the boys to see that men enjoy reading too and fathers are also invited to participate.
