 In recognition of his 20 year business anniversary, owner/operator Wayne Tyree of Hardee’s/Red Burrito, right, presented a $1,000 check to the Hope Food Pantry. Accepting the donation is Hodgenville United Methodist Church Pastor Bob Howell and Hope Food Pantry Coordinator Susan Phelps. The food pantry serves more than 90 families and 300 individuals monthly in LaRue County

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, from 2006 to 2010, 4,028 children (age 12 and younger in a passenger vehicle) were killed and an estimated 660,000 children were injured in motor vehicle traffic crashes.

Motor vehicle crashes continue to remain the number one killer of children ages 1 to 12 in America.
