  • Christmas spectacle draws viewers from around county

The Christmas spirit can surface in unexpected places: shopping, sitting at a red light, eating dinner and driving down the back roads of LaRue County.

Out on Knob Schoolhouse Road, toward Sonora, you’ll find the Fulkerson house. It’s hard to miss. Covered in multicolored Christmas lights and surrounded by holiday-themed inflatables (including one chilly polar bear who shivers), the house stands out in the daylight. At nighttime, though, it shines.
