Not much happening this week. I have enjoyed the couple of days we had sunshine for sure.

Jackie Standiford has been selected as the January Employee of the Month for Nationwide Uniform. Jackie has been employed with Nationwide since April of 2011 and is currently under the supervision of Jo Ann Pearman in the trouser department.
Jackie will receive a special award for her dedication and service.
Students at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School’s LaRue County Reads program recently received 53 books and a monetary donation to the program from the Jacob Van Meter Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
DAR member and Literacy Chair, Betsy Tucker, has long been associated with the reading mentorship program as a reader and recently presented a report about the program to the chapter.
This Thursday at 6 p.m. will be choir rehearsal. Congratulations to B.K. Smith as he will be traveling to Tennessee along with his parents, Brian and Sharon Smith for the Kentucky versus Tennessee All Stars game.
