The 151st annual session of the General Association of Kentucky Baptists will convene this week at the Convention Center in Bowling Green. This Sunday morning, First Baptist will fellowship with Lane Lincoln. Sunday, August 7, will be the Church Anniversary and Annual Homecoming at Pleasant Union Baptist Church in Campbellsville. Sunday, August 14 will be our 136th Church Anniversary and Annual Homecoming during morning services.

Warm Blessings is gearing up for their ninth Cardboard Nation “Sleep in a Box” fundraiser and awareness event scheduled for the third Friday in September. Linda Funk, Warm Blessings Executive Director is pictured handing a box, which will be used at the event to Lowe’s employee, Jerome Maynard. Lowe’s has supported the fundraiser each year by saving big boxes to be used by Cardboard Nation participants as they spend a night in a box to recognize the challenges of poverty and homelessness.
Ben and Angela Roberts of Hodgenville announce the birth of their daughter Annie Mae Roberts on January 12, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 19 inches long. Sisters are Addie, 5; Audrie, 4 and Allie, 2.
