A year after house fire, Fisher continues to deal with fallout

Eighteen months ago, Roy Fisher lost his home to an early morning fire.
The Bedford stone house on West Skaggs Road, near the LaRue/Taylor County line, burned to the ground.
At the time, Skaggs was angry because Taylor County firefighters were dispatched from 20-miles away to the scene before the much closer Buffalo Fire Department was called out. He felt that some of his household items may have been saved if they had gotten there sooner.
