Two people were injured Monday, Sept. 16 in a two-vehicle collision on South Lincoln Boulevard.
Samantha Ziemski, 26, was driving a PT Cruiser down Lincoln Boulevard when she collided with a Sara Lee distributing Ford LCF truck that had pulled out of the parking lot at Ruthie’s Lincoln Freeze to make a turn onto South Lincoln.
Ziemski and one of her passengers, her aunt, Kris Coward, were injured and transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by LaRue County EMS. A second passenger, a 1-year-old child, was strapped into a car seat and was uninjured.
Ziemski’s car sustained significant front end damage.
David Wesley, the driver of the truck, and his passenger, Joseph Kocher, were uninjured. The truck sustained little damage.
LaRue County EMS and Police Chief Steve Johnson, along with newly recruited officer Jaron Skillman investigated.
