WorkOne training assists employers

 Area employers who are expanding their workforce can take advantage of a WorkOne training program that can help reduce the cost of hiring and new employees.

The WorkOne On-the-Job Training Program provides reimbursements to participating employers that helps to compensate for the costs associated with skills upgrade training and loss of production for new employees.

Employers receive up to 50 percent of the wage rate of the new trainee to help defray training costs.
